im wanting to put the yellowish film/tint on my foglights so they are yellow like IS300 has. Any ideas on the best way to do this? or a good place to get a kit?
also what are the bad sides to this?
i found this and it seems like a good deal. Will this make my light beams yellowish? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ACURA-MDX-RSX-NSX-TL-RL-INEGRA-YELLOW-FOG-LIGHT-FILM_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33716QQitemZ799842 8886QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

You can also contact SOG as they are now a laminex dealer. Thats what I used on my wrx and it worked really well. I had thier smoked kit so Im not sure what ther yellow looks like. The kits about $50-$60 for the headlights and the fogs and its precut.

Hey folks,
Maybe we can shed some light on our products. We offer clear, yellow, smoked or blue light protection for your vehicles. Our product is made from high impact resistant film to prevent rocks, dirt and other debris from breaking or pitting your lights.
The current price is $17.95 for the fog light protection kit (replacement cost is $80-100 for a new fog light), but if the powers that be will allow us to offer everyone on this forum a 15%, we will be hapy to do so.
Someone asked for some pics so here goes.

Rockblocker never came back huh?...
Too bad. I wouldn't mind some of that yellow tint for my lil' fogs.

bigb b had a set on his car before he sold it. they do work and the reason for the yellow is stictly for the tint not improving your fog light output. this product for the bugeyes saved us from paying 85 for a new housing if the glass broke. try contacting them directly. this is a good product.
edit kinda cool that this was almost a year ago and the first pic they posted was the new body style.

I have rockblocker eyelids and love them (check out my profile). I have the dark smoke. The one downside to rockblocker, it is a thick film unlike typical window tint. Its a little difficult to work with, because you can't just push bubbles out. The whole film has to be pulled back up past the bubble. If you take your time and do it right, it should take like 30-60 minutes per light. I know they sell the ones precut for your lights too, that might be a little easier rather having to trace and cut.

Thanks yal. I know it's just about the look. I'm still debating it in a way too.
I've got the blue rockblocker kit on my headlights.
I love them, and they've certainly saved my headlight lenses.....

Hmm. I wonder if the blue would look cool on the fog lights...
It'd be different that's for sure. I guess it doesn't really matter though.
probably blend the fog lights in....
If I had a blue car, the fogs would be tinted yellow.

Yeah, yellow would be my first choice. I'm sure the film isn't permanent huh?
