Right now I'm looking at the Apexi N1 or the Borla catback. I like the Apexi because it sits at an angle and its in my price range as is the Borla also. Since I'm still learning about my STI, which catback is nicer? I also want it to sound deep, but not a screamer. I'll leave that up to my SRT-4 because it has a 3" turbo back system that SCREAMS. Also, is vividracing a decent company to deal with? They have like a gazillion exhaust systems for our cars. Thanks in advance!

the n-1 is going to be a screamer. like any n-1 styled exhausts that are a true straight thru design, their inherent sound characteristics are to have a higher tone to the sound.

and from what i've "heard", vivid has the reputation of horrible custy service. go thru porter at topspeed would be my suggestion

Also ive got the HKS Hi-power for under 500 bucks and it sits tilted and looks amazing. It is pretty big tho, im not sure if thats what your looking for. I personally am a fan of the big and tilted cat-backs. Also a nice deep rumble like alot of the other catbacks.

I would recommend the Scoobysport Catback if you don't mind waiting close to 3 months for the muffler. I am still waiting. Again they tell me it is sitting in customs. Now it has been 3 weeks in customs. They told me that usually it takes anywhere between 1 day and 2 weeks to be cleared from customs. I am raising hell with rallyperformance right now. To keep my business they need to do something for me.

unfotunantly, customs works on their own schedule. if its a problem with customs, theres nothing that rallyperformance can do about it and its really not their fault. like i said though, thats IF its a problem with customs. i've seen customs hold whole con tainers for months

I know it is not thier fault, but I am still upset. I ordered Uppipe, and downpipe at the same time and I recieved the up and down pipes about 2 months ago. That is the part that bothers me. I also ordered a mid pipe (third cat delete) about 1 month ago and I already recieved that. They have given me great customer service and that is why I would like to continue doing business with them, but if everything I am ordering from them is coming from the UK and there are possibilities of this happening again, I just don't know if I can handle it.

i know how u feel... when i ordered my helix downpipe, i had to wait about a month and a half when i was told it would take 7 days... first lost by fedex, then stuck in customs so not their fault... but its painful anyway

check out mad dad stuff, its really high quality, but other than that go through porter, if he gives you bad customer service you can always go shit on his front step. ;-)
